The Founding Issue of “…but this, I can do.” is about the inception of the magazine itself: how my life – travel, experiences, hobbies, friendships and love – influenced my life to be one of creative pursuit, but not in the traditional understanding of creativity.
“…but this, I can do.” is a magazine about creativity’s red-headed step-children. Where Creativity’s favorites are painting, music, or drawing, this publication focuses on the problem children: surfing, cooking, martial arts, traveling, science, and even religions and ideologies. The world – nature herself – is founded on creativity. This magazine explores that in depth, and seeks to find the beauty in everything. This is why we take great inspiration from the words of Dostoevsky’s Prince Myshkin:
